A classic blend from Rioja. The Viura variety blended with a touch of Malvasia to give it more depth. The palate is refreshingly zingy with apple and tropical fruits with just a hint of honey balanced by a nice lime acidity.
Fresh, balanced, with good acidity and intense aromas of flowers and white fruit. The ideal white wine to drink as an appetizer but also paired with food. Fermented in stainless steel tanks before stabilization and bottling.
This is a classic unaged white Rioja. The grapes are grown to provide below average yields and are hand-picked and cold macerated before pressing for maximum aroma. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks where the wine is given a little lees contact for a rounder feel before the two grape varieties are blended together, stabilised and bottled.
This 100% viura wine comes from old vines Badarán and Cárdenas, in the valley of San Millán (where the use of Castilian Spanish was first recorded). It is a well structured, balanced and fresh wine, the perfect accompaniment to good seafood!
This delicious Rioja rosado is made by an unusual process. Rather than being made with only red grapes, it is made by blending both red and white grapes. This gives the wine considerable elegance.
Tempranillo Blanco is a minority indigenous white grape variety which is exclusive to the DOCa Rioja. It is the result of a natural mutation of Red Tempranillo found in a vineyard in Murillo de Rio Leza in 1988. With smaller clusters and berries than the red variety, it offers wines of intense fruity, floral aromas, with a great personality.
Powerful and persistent wine, with a good end.
This skilled winemaker, Luis Cañas, has managed to preserve the natural aromatic freshness of the Viura grape, adding the Malvasia grape for more aroma and texture. It is a wine that gives you an appetite. It has been enhanced by 4 months ageing on the lees in very fine grained wood, just enough to balance with the fruit, making it very versatile with food.
Bodegas Amaren only produce their wines in limited quantities. The grapes for this white wine are grown near the top of the vines. These small clusters make perfect ripening possible with a high concentration of nuances. A wine with great aromatic intensity and elegance on its own, then enhanced further with oak.
A white reserva from Baron de Ley. A complex wine, vivacious and lasting. Its elaboration is unique since each grape is elaborated separately and, later, it is left to age the coupage during a year in barrels of American oak. A special and unique wine.
The grapes for this winecome from a single selection of vinesin the centre of the Finca El Estanquevineyard, a 60-hectare vineyardowned by the winery in the best areasof Haro. These particular vines are 40years old on average and from theshallow chalky soils that produceexcellent and healthy grapes.
This is a very interesting and quite unique wine. The fruit of a single vineyard, over 70 years old, in which the seven grape varieties grow side by side. Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo, Viura, Malvasía and Garnacha Blanca are the 7 grapes which give rise to this wine. The last three are white and, used in small proportions, add some...
