The Graciano grape, acclaimed and rare, was always an important component in the classic Rioja wine. Barón de Ley have planted 50 hectares of this grape in the Los Almendros vineyard, 460 m. above sea level. The shades of violet in its colour , fresh nose, subtle tannins, good acidity and strong character make this a unique wine.

Named after a famous Spanish victory over Napoleón in 1808, this is an excellent example of Oloroso. The word means "fragrant" and it certainly is.
