From the Aragonese town of Carinena, which gave its name to the grape (also known as Mazuelo). The soils are calcareous and stony and the vines ripen under a Mediterranean sun. In the bodega, pre and post fermentation maceration and malo-lactic are carried out in stainless steel tanks before the wine goes to barrel for ageing.
A cappela Roble has its origin in the freshest vineyards located nearer to the Duero River. The soil is sand with a little content of gravel. This gives a freshness that combined with the time in oak, allows us to elaborate a wine with a great personality and nice fruity hints.
