A wine which stands out for its exceptional price and quality.

The grapes used for this wine come from vineyards of 30 to 35 years of age, aged for 12 months in both French and American oak casks.

We call it a modern Classic Rioja where the oak is a fine supplement to the high quality grapes, well integrated without dominating the fruit. A small amount of the Garnacha grape is added for freshness and fruitiness

Tasting notes

95% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha. Average age of the vines: 30 years.

Aged during 12 months in oak casks. 60% in French oak and 40% in American oak. Age of casks; 3 years.

Cherry red colour.

On the nose the fruit is very present. Attractive aromas of red fruits such as strawberry and cherries, where the touch of the fine oak it has aged on, has left light hints of vanilla and cedar wood.

On the palate the wine is amazingly tasty and well structured. The fruit is the dominating part and the oak is there without taking over, as a nice supplement to the wine. The wine is medium-bodied and very tasty, with a nice structure but at the same time velvety with balsamic touches and ripe tannins. Once you have swallowed the wine you will again be reminded of strawberry and cherry with just the right amount of acidity that will make you ask for another sip.
