CEO Birdie Vinos
Barolo is one of Italy’s top reds. Soils are clay and limestone and the Rivetto vineyards are farmed organically, giving real terroir character to the wines. They do things traditionally here and every wine expresses its vineyard origin, and is a very friendly example of Piemontese wine.

100% Nebbiolo, a classic late ripening local grape.
The wine spends 30 months in 3,000 litre Slavonian oak barrels before finishing for 10 months in bottle.
Intense ruby red with hints of garnet.
Attractive and complex aromas of plum, earth and tobacco with the slightest traces of rose and truffle. It has something in common with Pinot Noir but is more powerful and less fruity.
Full bodied with noticeable structure; the tannins are ripe so not too aggressive. Earthy plums and a savoury note make this a serious wine.
