CEO Birdie Vinos
Bodegas Amaren, created by Juan Luis Cañas (Bodegas Luis Cañas) as a tribute to his mother, are known for their modern-style wines which is also the case of this new Crianza. The wine is truly attractive, transmitting the finesse and elegance of the tempranillo variety and the fresh, delicate fruitiness of the garnacha. A balanced combination leaving a smooth, attractive and tasty wine. I think I can say that they have achieved what they aimed for: to make a “DELICIOUS” wine.

Made from 85% tempranillo and 15% garnacha grapes, from vines with an average age of 35 years

Intense black cherry red with ruby glints
On the nose the fruit character of the wine is very dominating, with floral nuances and strawberry toffee notes. Extremely attractive.
What your nose has just experienced will stay with you all through the tasting of this wine. The wine shows great body but with an added elegance, enhanced with a beautiful balance between fruit and oak ageing. It has a long finish leaveingyou with a very pleasant taste of red fruits in your mouth. The typical taste of the best garnachas from the Rioja Alavesa is quite noticeable.
