CEO Birdie Vinos
Hailing from Sicily this is a blend of Sicilian and French grape varieties which gives a slightly softer feel yet offers all the ripeness one expects. The grapes grow on clay soils in western Sicily, inland from Marsala and the wines are made in a super modern winery.

70% Merlot and 30% Nero D’Avola
The Merlot ages in 500 litre oak barrels for 9 months and the Nero D’Avola stays in steel tanks. After blending the wine spends 4 months marrying in bottle before sale.
Bright ruby red with hints of carnelian
Forthcoming with plenty of ripe red fruits and a trace of oak as the Merlot is aged in oak barrels. The unaged Nero D’Avola adds a bright touch of black fruits.
Quite full bodied and fruity with the added complexity of the oak. The balance is excellent and while well structured, it is not tannic.
