CEO Birdie Vinos
This wine comes from Puglia in Italy’s deep south where it is hot with low rainfall. Soils are deep clay and much of the cultivation is still traditional, giving low yields and full bodied wines with ripe southern flavours.

100% Negroamaro, a local grape cultivated here for nearly 3,000 years.
The wine does not need ageing and is just stabilised in tank and aged briefly in bottle before sale.
Very deep ruby with hints almost of black
Intense with notes of southern ripeness, black fruits, traces of spice and a herbal note
Full bodied, smooth and firm with plenty of black fruit and an attractive trace of sapidity to balance. Long.
