This versatile wine is made from the fairly typical blend of Tempranillo (80%), Garnacha (15%) and Mazuelo (5%) varieties at the Rioja Vega winery in Rioja Baja and is a fine soft wine, with fleshy fruit and well integrated tannins.

12 months in American oak with 2 rackings followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle until going on sale.
Cherry color, medium-scintillating layer.
Complex array of aromas on the nose, with notes of red fruits and liquorice and subtle hints of toast, spices and cinnamon.
Silky, pleasant and enveloping on the palate, long, balanced, with very good tanins.
