From the Aragonese town of Carinena, which gave its name to the grape (also known as Mazuelo). The soils are calcareous and stony and the vines ripen under a Mediterranean sun. In the bodega, pre and post fermentation maceration and malo-lactic are carried out in stainless steel tanks before the wine goes to barrel for ageing.

Concentrated aromas of ripe black fruits mingled with vanilla and a trace of spice from the oak.
Well structured with gentle tannins and tight black fruits and a refreshing acidity and a hint of mineral, good length.
