This is the best of the three Barbera d’Albas from Rivetto. They come from different vineyards and express different microclimates and soils, all of which are slightly different but mainly calcareous and all of which are organic. This is from a 3 hectare vineyard and selected grapes are macerated for 2 days then fermented for 15 days. The wine is aged both in barrel and bottle before sale.

Concentrated yet fresh with lots of sappy black fruits and traces of oak spice
Bursting with brambles and cherries with traces of toasted oak and hints of vanilla decent grip but not tannic
