Made from 80 year old vines grown in the extreme conditions of the Ribera del Duero with bitter winters and hot summers and on poor soils. This makes for concentrated wines with distinct character which demonstrate the harsh growing environment. Small flavour-packed grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel before blending and oak ageing.

Fairly full bodied with notes of vanilla, coffee, liquorice, tobacco and smooth tannins
