ATTIS BODEGA Y VIÑEDOS is located in the center of the” Val del Salnés”, in Morouzos, a small village located on the hillside of Mount Penaguda, looking towards the “Rías of Arousa and Pontevedra”. Only a few metres from the family house is the cellar where the firm produced its wines until after the 2012 harvest, when they established a new winery, combining all their tradition and experience with the latest technology, not to mention more space.
Totally integrated to the environment, the winemaking equipment and aging store are underground, dug into solid granite which minimises temperature fluctuations throughout the year. They have all the most advanced technology in the control of fermentation temperatures, filtration and bottling of the finished wines.
This ia a classy wine from the Rias Baixas área in Galicia, where granite forms "fjords" and provides the soil and Atlantic exposure for the vines. To avoid excess humidity, the vines are trained up granite posts on pérgolas. The wine is fermented in stainless Steel and sold Young and fresh.
It is a dense and intense wine from organic farming in vines of 40 years (the oldest of Bodegas Attis).
